Das weltweit führende Traktionssystem, der ARB Air Locker™, sorgt für optimale Traktion unter allen Bedingungen. Mit einem Knopfdruck sperrt der Air Locker das Differential sofort und seine extrem robuste Konstruktion ermöglicht die Aktivierung bei jeder Geschwindigkeit – so meistern Sie selbst anspruchsvollstes Gelände. Der Vorteil des Air Lockers liegt im pneumatisch betätigten Sperrsystem im Differential. Im aktivierten Zustand verhindert der Air Locker die Rotation der internen Differentialzahnräder und damit die unabhängige Drehung der Achswellen. Da beide Räder direkt mit der Rotation des Tellerrads verbunden sind, behält das Fahrzeug jederzeit maximale Traktion. Im entsperrten Zustand funktioniert er wie ein herkömmliches offenes Differential. Ein mit einem Air Locker ausgestattetes Fahrzeug lässt sich langsamer, sicherer und kontrollierter fahren, wodurch das Risiko von Fahrzeugschäden und Umweltbelastungen deutlich reduziert wird.
