Gefertigt aus hochfestem, 7 mm dickwandigem, duktilem Siliziumguss, sind diese Krümmer 75 % dicker und beugen so Rissen durch hohe Abgastemperaturen vor. Die thermische Belastbarkeit wurde durch längere Abgasbolzen und Distanzstücke sowie dickere, robustere, gefräste Befestigungsflansche verbessert.
