Dieses K&N NextGen Kaltluftansaugsystem wurde speziell für den RAM 1500 V8 5.7LF/I entwickelt. Ein rotationsgeformtes Rohr aus hochdichtem Polyethylen (HDPE) erhöht den Luftdurchsatz um 36,45 % (CFM) und sorgt für eine Leistungssteigerung von 14,3 PS und ein Drehmomentplus von 15,1 Nm – ganz ohne Anpassungen am Motor. Das Ansaugsystem ist mit einem waschbaren und wiederverwendbaren Dryflow LIFETIME Luftfilter mit ölfreiem Synthetikmaterial ausgestattet. Dank des übergroßen, konischen Designs sind bis zu 80.000 km Filterwechsel unter normalen Autobahnbedingungen möglich. Die Reinigung erfolgt bequem in zwei Schritten ohne Öl. Ein speziell entwickelter NextGen Luftfilterkasten schützt die Ansaugluft vor den hohen Temperaturen im Motorraum. Die Installation des gesamten Systems dauert in der Regel weniger als 60 Minuten.
