Der Ford Super Duty ab Baujahr 2017 mit dem 6,7-Liter-Powerstroke-Motor zählt zu den leistungsstärksten und zuverlässigsten Pickups auf dem Markt. Als Mishimoto jedoch von internen Leckagen der Ladeluftkühler des 6,7-Liter-Powerstroke-Motors erfuhr, machten wir uns an die Arbeit, den 6,7-Liter-Powerstroke noch weiter zu verbessern. Der Mishimoto-Ladeluftkühler für den 6,7-Liter-Powerstroke erhöht die Zuverlässigkeit des Motors nochmals deutlich, indem er die serienmäßige Konstruktion aus gestanzten und gestapelten Platten ersetzt. Stattdessen besteht unser Ladeluftkühler aus Endtanks aus Aluminiumguss, die präzisionsgeschweißt (WIG) mit dem robusten Kern aus Stangen und Platten verbunden sind. Die gegossenen Endtanks reduzieren potenzielle Schwachstellen und sind somit zuverlässiger als geschnittene und geschweißte Tanks. Zusätzliche Langlebigkeit wird durch ein präzisionsgebogenes Kaltseitenrohr und Silikonkupplungen mit Duracore®-Beschichtung erreicht.
